Travel Information

Getting from Copenhagen Airport to Downtown Copenhagen

You can either take the train or metro from Copenhagen airport to downtown Copenhagen. The rides take approximately 15 minutes and require a 3 zone ticket which can be purchased for 31,50 DKK. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to downtown Copenhagen takes about 20 minutes and cost approximately 200 DKK.

Getting from Copenhagen to DTU

The conference will take place at Glassalen on the campus of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) (see map below). There are several ways of getting from Downtown Copenhagen to DTU.

From Copenhagen Central Station (København H.) or Nørreport Station: Take train B direction Holte og E direction Hillerød and get of at Lyngby station. From Lyngby station take either bus 353 direction Helsingør Station or 300S direction Nærum Station and get off at DTU/Rævehøjvej. Alternatively take bus 190 Direction Holte Station and get off at Anker Engelundsvej.

Extra option from Nørreport station: Take bus 150S direction Kokkedal station and get off at DTU/Rævehøjvej.

The above trips will take approximately 30 minutes and require 5 zones, we suggest you purchase a 5 zone "clip card" valid for 10 trips (price 265 DKK) which can be obtained at any train station or kiosk around Copenhagen. Alternatively, one way tickets can be bought at the train station or on the bus (the bus only accepts cash) for 52.50 DKK. EMMDSLogo

Poster Presentation

If you want to present a poster during the workshop's poster session send an email with the word "Poster" in the subject line to mmds-organizers@imm.dtu.dk . Please include your name, affiliation as well as title and abstract of poster.

For PhD students: The EMMDS workshop will count as a PhD course and give 2.5 ECTS points provided the student presents a poster and attends all conference days.
